InTice Gelanimo Ant Bait features a patent-pending matrix similar to gelatin, in that it is 'cuttable.'

NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Rockwell Labs Ltd announced the introduction of new InTice Gelanimo Ant Bait.  Several years in development, the unique, “rigid” gel matrix represents a major advancement in bait formulation technology, Rockwell Labs reports. The patent pending matrix is similar to gelatin, in that it is “cuttable” and has the very high moisture content insects crave, but it will not melt at operational temperatures.  According to Rockwell Labs, experiments show that insects prefer a gel they can “cut” rather than a smooth, flowable gel as it appears to be easier for them to consume.  In addition to the high moisture content, the bait doesn’t turn sticky or gooey and ants can feed over the entire surface of the bait without drowning. InTice Gelanimo is conveniently packaged in a sealed, ready-to-use station containing 0.4 ounces (12 grams) of bait. PMPs simply use a pen or similar object to push out the tab over the small hole where ants will enter and exit the station. Once opened, the stations will remain effective for at least 45 days, or until all the bait is consumed, according to Rockwell Labs.  The station is designed to be used in any orientation with no drips, spills or mess.  Part of Rockwell’s Green Zone line of products, InTice Gelanimo Ant Bait contains 3% borax and is packaged in boxes containing 27 0.4 ounce stations. The product is available now through major pest control distributors. For more information visit www.rockwelllabs.com.
