NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Rockwell Labs has several Invade products in the marketplace, as well as a training program designed to enhance effective small fly control.
“We’ve just reformulated and improved our Invade products by adding natural citrus oil,” said Dr. Cisse Spragins, CEO and founder of Rockwell Labs “The citrus oil has insecticidal activity and smells like fresh oranges.”
Invade Bio Foam can be used to foam areas where fruit flies and drain flies breed, including drains, and cracks and crevices.
Invade Bio Foam is a very concentrated product that’s economical to use. One ounce diluted with a quart of water gives the finished product with the foaming agent already in it.
Rockwell has two other Invade formulations: Invade Bio Cleaner and Invade Bio Cleaner. Both of these microbial products are commonly sold directly to a PMP’s account, she explains. “The drain product should initially be applied
several times to destroy the scum. After that’s done, it should be applied once a week to prevent more build-up.”
Invade Bio Cleaner is a liquid formulation commonly used as a mopping cleaner in mop water and as a surface cleaner and deodorizer. “It’s not necessary,” Spragins explains, “to put anything else in the water because it’s got the microbes, citrus oil and chemical cleaners as well. It’s used in areas where scum has been built-up at the floor level, such as cracks in the tile or peeling baseboards.”
