Rockwell Relocates To Kansas City Area; Reformulates Small Fly Control Products

Rockwell Labs has relocated to a new manufacturing facility in North Kansas City, Mo. The company also announced it has reformulated its small fly control products.

NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Rockwell Labs has relocated to a new city and new and improved manufacturing facilities.

The pesticide manufacturer is now located in the Kansas City metropolitan area at 1512 Taney St., North Kansas City, MO 64116. Rockwell relocated in mid-November from their Minneapolis headquarters facility.

“We made the move to be closer to our customer base and improve our logistics and to double the size of our original facility,” said Dr. Cisse Spragins, CEO and founder of the company.

The company’s new 20,000 square foot building houses its laboratory and office facilities, as well as its newly expanded manufacturing facility. Rockwell manufactures and packages various IPM insect control products, including granular baits, gels, pastes, liquids, and stations.

Spragins says the new facilities enabled Rockwell to upgrade their granular manufacturing and packaging equipment to increase efficiency and volume output. “It also enabled us to upgrade our liquid manufacturing and filling operations to serve the growing demand for our new INVADE BIO range.  To do this we have doubled our overall capital investment in equipment. But we are now better servicing our market.”

Rockwell Labs’ phone number continues to be 866-788-4101. Its website is www.rockwelllabs.com.

In other Rockwell Labs news, the company announces it has several Invade products in the marketplace, as well as a training program designed to enhance effective small fly control.

“We’ve just reformulated and improved our Invade products by adding natural citrus oil,” said Dr. Cisse Spragins, CEO and founder of Rockwell Labs “The citrus oil has insecticidal activity and smells like fresh oranges.”
Invade Bio Foam can be used to foam areas where fruit flies and drain flies breed, including drains, and cracks and crevices.

Invade Bio Foam is a very concentrated product that’s economical to use. One ounce diluted with a quart of water gives the finished product with the foaming agent already in it.

Rockwell has two other Invade formulations: Invade Bio Cleaner and Invade Bio Cleaner. Both of these microbial products are commonly sold directly to a PMP’s account, she explains.   “The drain product should initially be applied
several times to destroy the scum. After that’s done, it should be applied once a week to prevent more build-up.”

Invade Bio Cleaner is a liquid formulation commonly used as a mopping cleaner in mop water and as a surface cleaner and deodorizer.  “It’s not necessary,” Spragins explains,  “to put anything else in the water because it’s got the microbes, citrus oil and chemical cleaners as well. It’s used in areas where scum has been built-up at the floor level, such as cracks in the tile or peeling baseboards.”
