SASKATOON – In January, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued a recall of food products from Bistak Enterprises Inc. and Bistak Groceries Inc., based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The agency said food products were possibly contaminated with Salmonella from a rodent infestation. Recalled products included grains, beans, flour, canned goods, fats and oils, drinks, meat products, fish products, baked goods, nuts, spices and milk powder sold through Dec. 29, 2021.
The products were sold to consumers at African groceries in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
