The RodeXit rodent proof weatherstrip, a proven product from Denmark, has been scientifically established by an independent and accredited test institution, according to the manufacturer. The rodent proof barrier consists of 10 stainless-steel wires which are embedded in the polymer material Santoprene – a sturdy material invented by Exxon and used for very durable products (e.g., car bumpers). The distance between the wires is less than 1/5 of an inch. That is too little even for a small mouse. The wires are so hard and thick, that they can withstand rat attacks, the manufacturer reports. It can proof both threshold gaps of single and double doors and astragal gaps of double doors. Learn more at www.rodexit.com
