Rollins’ Crump Named Georgia Global CIO of the Year

ATLANTA – Rollins Inc., a nationwide consumer services company, announced today that Lee W. Crump, chief information officer, was selected as the 2012 Georgia CIO of the Year Award winner in the Global category. This category represents companies with over 2,500 information technology users internationally.

“I am very proud to have been selected, particularly when I look at the CIOs and companies we were competing against,” said Lee W. Crump, Rollins’ CIO and group vice president. “This is an incredible honor, and I believe it reflects more on Rollins than it does on me.”

“Lee’s innovative use of technology to provide business value and support the organization’s mission was a key differentiator and he stood out amongst the applicants,” said Casey George, president of the Georgia CIO Leadership Association. “He exemplifies the quality of IT leadership we seek to cultivate and support in Georgia.”

This year’s winners were chosen from a highly qualified field of applicants representing companies from all over the state of Georgia. Each winner was selected based on demonstrated excellence in managing enterprise-wide information systems and outstanding technology leadership, tempered by innovation and creativity.
