Rollins Fourth Quarter Profit Rises 13 Percent

The parent of pest control company Orkin, reported that its fourth quarter profit jumped 13 percent on the performance of its sales and service programs.

ATLANTA — Rollins Inc., the parent of pest control company Orkin, on Wednesday said its fourth-quarter profit jumped 13 percent on the performance of its sales and service programs.

Net income for the period ended Dec. 31 rose to $11.9 million, or 12 cents per share, from $10.5 million, or 10 cents per share, during the same period a year prior. Revenue rose 6 percent to $216 million from $204.7 million.

For the full year, profit rose 12 percent to $64.7 million, or 64 cents per share, from $57.8 million, or 56 cents per share. Revenue rose 4 percent to $894.9 million from $858.9 million.
