ATLANTA – Rollins has been named a 2021 Top Workplace by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for the fifth consecutive year.
The Top Workplace list recognizes 175 small, medium and large companies out of 3,035 in metro Atlanta that have high employee satisfaction. The awards are based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage.
Nearly 500 employees at Rollins’ headquarters responded to the survey. The Atlanta-based team members support 19 pest control companies under the Rollins brand, including Orkin Pest Control. Worldwide, Rollins has more than 15,000 employees.
“It’s an honor to receive this award for the fifth consecutive year,” said Jerry Gahlhoff, Rollins president and COO. “In the past year, our focus has been on the safety and wellbeing of our employees. Through the changes made, our employees have adapted and continue to meet our mission, which inspires us to be the best customer service company in the world. We are proud of our employees and appreciate their efforts to better serve our customers in these unprecedented times.”
Last year, Rollins began providing up to 80 hours of pay for employees impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Employees can use this time for themselves or to care for an immediate family member who has tested positive or is being quarantined for a suspected case of COVID-19.
