ATLANTA - Rollins, Inc. announced this year’s O. Wayne Rollins scholarship winners. Each year, select Rollins employees’ sons or daughters are awarded the O. Wayne Rollins scholarship to help with college tuition. This year, 15 distinguished high school graduates will receive $3,000 for the school year. Students will receive the scholarships for two to four years, depending on their coursework and they type of degree they are pursuing.
Beginning in 2018, Rollins allocated additional dollars to the scholarship fund due to the government tax breaks to support an additional five students each year. Prior to that, Rollins awarded scholarships to 10 students each year. The scholarship first began in 1968, and in the past 20 years has helped more than 200 college students.
Any child of a full-time Rollins employee who plans to attend college or trade school is eligible to apply for the award.
