ATLANTA – Rollins Inc., announced that John Torres is its new managing director of learning and development. In this role, Torres will be responsible for coming up with a learning and development strategy that aligns with the business strategy and Rollins’ culture.

Torres has more than 25 years of experience in various industries and most recently served as the director of learning and organization development for RockTenn paper packaging and manufacturer in Norcross. While there, he focused on development, team-building and instructional design and development. Prior to RockTenn, Torres spent 18 years at Honeywell International, providing learning and organization development support for their global businesses. He started his career in manufacturing.
Torres holds various certifications, including Six Sigma Green Belt, and is a registered corporate coach. He studied business management at the State University of New York-Empire State College. John and his wife, Darlene, have four daughters and live in Alpharetta. They’re originally from Long Island, N.Y.
