CHICAGO – Janelle Iaccino, marketing director, Rose Pest Solutions, Chicago, will be one of 22 Chicago area women executives who will be honored in the 24th Annual Influential Women in Business Awards and Recognition Event hosted by the Daily Herald Business Ledger and their sponsoring partners. The awards are presented to outstanding women executives who excel in business, civic and personal arenas. The honorees’ business must be located or have a major presence in the Business Ledger’s primary editorial coverage area – suburban Chicago.
Iaccino joined Rose Pest Solutions in 2005 as a administrative assistant and has risen through the ranks to become marketing director. She has fully embraced her interest in bugs and is now commonly known throughout Chicagoland as “The Bug Girl” on local radio and TV stations. Throughout her career at Rose Pest Solutions, Iaccino has benefitted from the mentorship of Rose Pest Solutions leaders Robert and Judy Dold, both former presidents of the National Pest Management Association.
Iaccino’s contributions at Rose Pest Solutions included helping the company share its narrative of being a “green” pest control service provider; creating and implementing the company’s social media strategy; and representing Rose Pest Solutions as a media spokesperson as the “Bug Girl.”
