Rotam North America Names Jim Adams Business Manager for Non Crop Segments

Adams will take the lead in Rotam’s expansion into the structural pest control, golf course, home and garden, commercial landscape and nursery markets.

MIAMI — Rotam North America, Inc., the crop protection unit of the Rotam Group, is pleased to announce it has added a Business Manager for non-crop segments to its North American business team. Jim Adams, non-crop industry veteran will take the lead in Rotam’s expansion into the structural pest control, golf course, home and garden, commercial landscape and nursery markets.

Jim Adams will be based in Amelia Island, Florida and will report to Thomas Chavez, country director US and Canada for Rotam. Adams began his career at Chevron Chemical (now Valent) moving into their non-crop sector early on. Adams continued his non-crop career with positions at MicroFlo and Lesco. Throughout his career Adams held positions in sales, marketing, operations and management. Adams also initiated a small consulting group with a non-crop client base that included Kalo, Inc.

“Jim’s expertise brings Rotam an immediate jump into the non-crop sector,” says Tom Chavez. “His breath of experience in marketing, sales and distribution partnered with his entrepreneurial flair, will facilitate our efforts as we expand beyond traditional crop markets.”
