As a result of the purchase more than 2,000 new customers have been added to Rottler’s clientele base. Rottler acquires two employees, a fifth branch location and equipment from Springer’s Ashland, Mo., office, and two employees and equipment from Summit’s St. Louis office.
“We are constantly looking at ways to grow our business,” said Mike Rottler, president, Rottler Lawn and Pest Solutions. “These two acquisitions allow us to do that by reaching new customers and by obtaining new means which will allow us to better serve our existing customers.”
The two Summit employees will be assigned to Rottler’s St. Louis office, while the Springer location will be renamed and remain in Ashland, creating the first Rottler office outside of the St. Louis metro area. Ashland is located 10 miles south of Columbia, Mo., in Southern Boone County.
Based in St. Louis, Rottler Pest and Lawn Solutions employs 93 people and is consistently recognized on PCT’s Top 100 list as one of the largest 100 pest management firms in the U.S. The company posted sales of $7.1 million in 2006. Mike Rottler has been elected president of the National Pest Control Association and will take office in June 2007.
