ST. LOUIS – On Monday, Sept. 11, volunteers from Rottler Pest Solutions packed 750 meals at the Blues Arena/Enterprise Center to honor those lost, as well as the heroes of, 9/11.

Rottler Pest Solutions participated as part of 9/11 Day Meal Pack, a nationwide effort to pack 5 million meals (which ended up being 6.7 million meals) in 20 cities on Sept. 11, 2023. More than 20,000 volunteers, including military veterans and first responders, joined together to pack the meals, which stayed in local communities to be donated to and distributed by Feeding America-affiliated food banks for Hunger Action Month.

Rottler services Blues Arena/Enterprise Center, which made Rottler leaders Mike and Dan Rottler aware of this volunteer opportunity. The Rottler team included Matt Brier, Jimmy Brandt, Ryan Kelley, Rich Claybon, John O’Neill, James Soest, Mike Johnson, Victoria Turpin and Dan Rottler.

The goal at the Blues Arena/Enterprise Center was to pack 250,000 meals (which they exceeded with a total of 357,000 meals) and the Rottler team packed 750 meals, which was recorded as the fasted and most meals packed within its time slot.

As the company noted on its Facebook page, the meal packing was all about “Turning a day of tragedy into a day of doing good."
