Sandi Wilson Named Communictions Manager of BASF's Professional Pest Control Group

BASF has appointed Sandi Wilson as the communications manager for its Professional Pest Control group.

 RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — BASF has appointed Sandi Wilson as the communications manager for the Professional Pest Control group.

In this role, Wilson will oversee the strategic communications plan for the group, which manufactures and markets Termidor® termiticide/insecticide and Phantom® termiticide-insecticide, along with other specialty products for the professional pest control industry. Wilson will join the management team, implementing marketing strategies and acting as the point of contact for the group’s advertising and public relations teams.

Wilson brings with her extensive communication experience in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer roles. In her position as marketing communications manager for Tekelec, a global hardware and software developer for telecommunications providers, she directed communications programs and executed successful events for key global markets. Wilson also held senior leadership positions at the Eastman Kodak Company and McKinney & Silver Advertising.

Wilson is the recipient of a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has completed continuing and executive education courses at Duke University, Kellogg School of Management and North Carolina State University.
