Sara Amichai, an Israeli Pest Control Pioneer, Passes Away

Amichai, who along with husband Eitan, was a founder and owner of Eitan Amichai Pest Management, the largest pest control company in Israel.

ISRAEL — Sara'le (Sara) Amichai, who along with husband Eitan, was a founder and owner of Eitan Amichai Pest Management, passed away on Friday. Friday was Yom Kippur — the holiest day of the Jewish people. Sara was also mother of Ronen and Nurit Amichai.

Eitan Amichai Pest Management was founded in 1963 and is the largest pest control company in Israel.

Sara was an integral part of pest control business and took an active part in all company activities since its establishment. She participated in numerous conferences of NPMA and FAOPMA all over the world, and created contacts with dozens of activists from the pesticide industry. She often is referred to as the "mother" of all the employees.
