According to Schendel President Brent Boles, the acquisition is a strategic move.
“Schendel has been servicing commercial business in Kansas City for some time. We have contracts with several local school districts, restaurants and health care facilities,” Boles said. “Until this opportunity surfaced to acquire local residential business from Springer, we did not have the time or ability to offer our services to homeowners in the Kansas City metro.
“Now, we will be able to offer the same high level of service to treat and protect area homes that many local businesses already enjoy. That includes the services of our on-staff PhD research entomologist to ensure all Schendel customers have access to the latest developments in pest control procedures.”
Springer Pest Solutions is headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, and will remain in operation in other markets.
