TOPKEA, Kan. — Schendel Pest Services announced that is has acquired the operations of PestWorks, a pest control provider located in the Dallas suburb of Addison, Texas. The PestWorks acquisition expands Schendel to six states, and is in line with the company’s strategic growth plan.
“Texas, and in particular the Dallas/Fort Worth market, has been on our radar for sometime,” said Brent Boles, president of Schendel Pest Services. “We have seen significant increases in our Oklahoma customer base, and it only made sense to expand to the next adjacent market. Dallas/Fort Worth is recognized globally in four leading industry sectors: Advanced Services, Technology, Logistics and Healthcare. All four of those sectors align well with what we do best, and we are excited for the opportunity to bring Schendel’s pest management expertise to customers in Texas.”
Dallas will function as Schendel’s ninth District Office, and will service a mix of residential and commercial customers. The expansion marks Schendel’s fourth acquisition in five years.
