WONDER LAKE, Ill. - Laura Lentz was recently promoted to operations manager at Schopen Pest Solutions. During the past five years, Lentz has held many positions at Schopen, including customer service rep (CSR), head programmer and office manager. In her new duties, she will oversee all aspects of operations such as service pricing, advertising, chemical purchases, office maintenance and employee equipment.
“Laura has grown in stride with Schopen Pest Solutions during the last five years,” said owner Pete Schopen. The McHenry, Ill.-based company has leaped from a $1.1-million-dollar-company in 2016, when Laura started, to a $2.7-million-dollar-company in 2020. Schopen added, “Laura is someone who loves a challenge and has a great working relationship with our clients.”
Lentz comes from a banking background where she was a loan officer and assistant manager. She enjoys the fast-paced environment at Schopen and loves the pest control industry. In her free time she is an avid jogger and hiker. She has been married for 32 years to her high school sweetheart Kevin Lentz. She has two grown children, Jeremy and Cecelia. Jeremy also works for Schopen and was their Rookie-of-the-Year in 2019.
