SCPCA Names Professionals of the Year

The South Carolina Pest Control Association named Gene Redd, Aiken Pest Control, 2005 Technician of the Year, and Bill Batten, owner of Pest Arrest, 2005 Pest Management Professional of the Year.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina Pest Control Association named Gene Redd, Aiken Pest Control, 2005 Technician of the Year, and Bill Batten, owner of Pest Arrest, 2005 Pest Management Professional of the Year.

The awards were presented at the 47th annual  meeting of the South Carolina Pest Management Professionals School held in Columbia, S.C., Feb. 14-16, 2006. The awards were sponsored by the South Carolina Pest Control Association.

Redd accepted his jacket from John Loesch of Whitmire Micro-Gen and Jared Clark of the SCPCA Nominating Committee. Clark is president of Advantage Pest Management, Columbia, S.C.
