FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. and NEW YORK — SenesTech announced the registration approval from New York State for the marketing and sale of ContraPest, the company's patented fertility control product for managing rat infestations.
"New York approval is an important milestone for commercializing ContraPest, as a number of our initial customers are located in that state," said Dr. Loretta P. Mayer, Chair, CEO and co-founder of SenesTech. "We can now move to finalize purchase agreements in New York, where ContraPest has already successfully completed trials with potential customers."
SenesTech's ContraPest was registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on August 2, 2016. New York's approval brings the total of state approvals to twenty-five (25) plus the District of Columbia. Applications have been submitted in all but one of the remaining states, California, and this is expected to be submitted within two weeks.
