By using dynamic flash animation and a conversational tone, Sentricon.com now takes visitors through a story line that follows a typical subterranean termite discovery process. Termite biology and behavior is discussed, followed by a comparison between the Sentricon System and other treatment options.
A new feature to Sentricon.com is the presence of an “AO Locator” box at the bottom of each Web page, which enables visitors to simply enter their ZIP code and find Authorized Operators in their area.
“For more than a decade, interactive initiatives like Sentricon.com and TermiteRisk.com have been putting information about eliminating termite colonies at homeowners’ fingertips,” says Dave Maurer, marketing specialist for the Sentricon System.
Dow AgroSciences is also encouraging Authorized Operators to link their companies’ Web sites to Sentricon.com. Among the Authorized Operators with company Web sites, nearly three-fourths include the Sentricon® System somewhere on the sites, and more than one-fourth link directly to Sentricon.com.
“By linking to Sentricon.com, Authorized Operators are providing another avenue for customers to learn about the Sentricon System and subterranean termites,” Maurer adds.
