MEMPHIS - ServiceMaster has acquired Decatur Pest Control, Decatur, Ga., as reported by The Potomac Company, the exclusive financial advisor to Decatur. The transaction closed in 2019 and the terms were not disclosed.
The business of Decatur will largely be integrated into the business of Inspect All Services, a former client of Potomac that was acquired by ServiceMaster.
Founded in 2007 by Dave Ryan, the company services Decatur, Ga., and the Atlanta metro area. The company’s 17 employees have joined ServiceMaster and Ryan, the owner, immediately retired from the industry.
Ryan commented, “I was concerned with choosing an advisor that could navigate through the now complicated acquisition process with so many international purchasers in the market. Paul was referred by a fellow pest control operator and after researching Potomac I felt extremely comfortable with him guiding me through the entire process."
