ORIGIN Exterminators in Singapore recently kickstarted the conversion of its entire fleet service to electrical vehicles (EVs).

Of the company’s 15 vans and five motorcycles, three of its vans are now electric. The company told PCT it will convert the entire fleet by the end of 2023. "Sustainability should underscore everything that we do because we are in the business of protecting the environment,” said Winston Baptista, CEO of the company.

The company recently partnered with EVCo for its continued success in the sustainability business.

EV’s are better for the planet and lighter on the wallet in terms of lower energy and maintenance costs, the company stated. Most importantly, EV telematics enable the collection and analysis of data that greatly enhance driver performance and operational efficiency of a fleet.

Functions like route optimization, decarbonization planning, battery management and vehicle maintenance management enable the company to operate at a higher efficiency level which contributes further to reducing its carbon footprint.
