MELBOURNE, Fla. – A pair of Slug-A-Bug employees recently achieved career milestones.
Chrissy Gagnon, route manager for pest control, is now an associate certified entomologist (ACE) after having completed her exam with the ESA Certification Association. A Slug-A-Bug team member since 2005, Gagnon began studying for the exam in November. The ACE designation represents a benchmark of excellence and knowledge in the industry.
“I believe strongly in continuing education in this industry and I like to encourage learning,” Gagnon said. “This certification helps me demonstrate that achievement is always an option.”
Henry Schook was recently promoted from quality assurance technician to pest control supervisor for the Slug-A-Bug Palm Bay branch office. Schook came to Slug-A-Bug in 2021, beginning in the lawn department. Shortly afterward, he made the switch to the company's pest department. Schook said he admires the company for its integrity and care.
“What sets Slug-A-Bug apart are the company's values and dedication to both employees and customers,” Schook said. “The company is so willing to support the team and to treat employees like family.”
