NILES, Ill. — Smithereen Pest Management Services, a provider of integrated pest management since 1888, recently acquired Martinsville, Ind.-based Kim Mountain Pest Control.
While Smithereen has historically served clients in Indiana, this acquisition broadens the company's service area to strengthen central and southern areas of the state, expanding in counties such as Marion, Boone, Hamilton, Hendricks, Hancock, Morgan, Johnson, Shelby, Brown and Monroe.
For more than four decades, Kim Mountain Pest Control has operated throughout Indiana's Johnson, Morgan, Marion, Hendricks and Brown counties. Both Kim Mountain and Smithereen pride themselves on remaining family-owned and operated throughout their histories and offering environmentally friendly integrated pest management.
"Kim Mountain created a truly impressive pest control presence throughout the central and southern sections of Indiana," said Scott Seifert, Smithereen's director of sales and marketing. "Kim Mountain Pest Control shares the same commitment to customer satisfaction, proactive pest management and practices that are safe for both people and the environment as a whole. By combining our resources, we can provide the whole state with top-tier remediation for common pests, termites, bed bugs and wildlife."
