Southern Mill Creek Products Holds 17th Annual Equipment Show

CLEVELAND — Southern Mill Creek Products (SMCP) of Ohio held its 17th Annual Equipment Show at the distributor’s corporate headquarters in Cleveland on Wednesday.

Every type of equipment SMCP carries was on display inside the company’s warehouse while leading manufacturers displayed their products in a (heated) adjacent tent. This set-up provided attendees with opportunities to view hands-on demonstrations from SMCP and manufacturer representatives. Attendees also took advantage of special sales.

“We came up with this idea to better serve our clientele, which includes a lot of small- to mid-sized operators who may not get a chance to check out products at state and national shows,” said Tom Evans, CEO, Southern Mill Creek Products of Ohio.

Evans said all of SMCPs’ equipment was transported to Cleveland from the company’s warehouse in Columbus, Ohio. Two weeks ago, SMCP held equipment shows in Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Columbus. In addition to Cleveland, SMCP held an equipment show in Detroit earlier this week and another show is scheduled in Pittsburgh later this week.

Manufacturers participating at the SMCP equipment show included: Atlantic Paste & Glue; Bayer Environmental Science; Bell Laboratories; FMC Corporation; Paragon; Safeguard; Waterbury; Whitmire Micro-Gen and Zoecon.
