JOHNS CREEK, Ga. - Terrence Wayne (Terry)] Spires, 53, a longtime pest management professional who served for 17 years as vice president of operations at Team Pest USA, passed away on April 9.
A native of Toledo, Ohio, Spires started his career in pest control in Toledo working for Orkin. His career path relocated him to Charlotte, N.C., and Greenville, S.C., before making his permanent home in Georgia with Team Pest USA, where he was considered family.
At Team Pest, he served as technical director, company-wide sales and service trainer, customer relations, chemical and application technique director, manufacture-distribution relations liaison, and director of HOA relations division. Spires received the company’s highest recognition dedication award for his undeniable commitment to the company’s success earning their highest esteem. His creative marketing skills developed into a very successful staple in the industry, a networking group called The Gamechangers.
Terrence is survived by his wife, Christina, sons Zackary, Nicholas and Vincente, four nieces, nephew, great nephew and great niece, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
