Sri Lanka-Based The Exterminators Receives ISO 9001-2000 Standards

The Exterminators received the ISO 9001-2000 quality management system for the provision of pest control services, termite control services & fumigation services from the Sri Lanka Standards Institution.

BATTARAMULLA, Sri Lanka — The Exterminators, based in Sri Lanka, announced that they have received the ISO 9001-2000 quality management system for the provision of pest control services, termite control services & fumigation services from the Sri Lanka Standards Institution.

The certificate was presented to Marlon Ferreira, CEO of The Exterminators, by Dr. A R L Wijesekera, chairman SLSI, as well as Gamini Dharmawardana, director system certification SLSI. Wasantha B Meewaddana, director of marketing & promotions SLSI was also present.

The event was held at the SLSI auditorium on Jan. 15. Ferreira said the his company is setting a benchmark in the pest management industry in Sri Lanka and also implementing IPM for the food plants.
