COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — The Exterminators, a Sri Lanka pest management company, captured another prestigious award by winning the “Small Business Brand of the Year 2010” at the SLIM BRAND EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2010 held on Oct, 1, at Water’s Edge Colombo.
SLIM Brand Excellence Awards organized annually by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing. The criteria employed in evaluating the performance of a BRAND was divided into two categories from sales volume, growth, brand reputation, customer satisfaction etc., while the other set related to what the brand did, brand content, brand intent etc., The Exterminators (Pvt) Ltd is the only ISO 9001-2008 QMS & ISO 14001-2004 EMS certified Pest Management Company in Sri Lanka the company is also a member of the National Pest Management Association since 2004 and also the American Mosquito Control Association. In 2009 the company received the Silver Award for the small category and also the National Merit Award for the other service sector category.
The CEO also won two awards at the Sri Lankan Entrepreneur of the year 2009.
