State Pest Control Acquires Roach Busters Pest Control

The transaction expands State’s presence in the central North Carolina market.

RALEIGH, N.C. – State Pest Control acquired Zebulon, N.C.-based Roach Busters Pest Control. The transaction expands State’s presence in the central North Carolina market.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Roach Busters Pest Control to our growing team in this market,” said Brad Pitts, Regional Vice President for State Pest Control. “We look forward to providing the same level of high-quality service their customers have come to expect.”

Roach Busters Pest Control has been operating in the Tri-Cities market for more than 25 years, providing commercial pest control to businesses in Wake, Durham and Franklin counties. Owners Tom and Linda Norris will retire following the merger, and the company will join State’s Wendell branch.

“There’s peace of mind knowing that we can retire and our customers will be in good hands with the highly trained team at State,” said Tom Norris. “It’s been a smooth process thus far, and we are confident that it will be a seamless transition for our loyal customers.”

State Pest Control currently has branches in Clinton, Fayetteville, Wendell and Sanford. The company has acquired a total of nine pest control companies in North Carolina since 2009. It is a brand of Environmental Pest Service, one of the fastest-growing pest control companies in the nation.
