CLINTON, N.C. — State Pest Control, a leader in sustainable solutions for pest control, termite, mosquito and bed bug extermination in central North Carolina, recently acquired two pest control companies – Rose Hill-based Coastal Exterminating Company and Raleigh-based Cooper Pest Control.
The mergers expand State Pest Control’s presence in the central North Carolina market and add nearly 2,700 customers and approximately $550,000 in annual revenues.
“State Pest Control is proud to merge with both Cooper and Coastal, and to continue growing our customer base in central North Carolina,” said David Joles, regional vice president of State Pest Control. “We look forward to offering their customers additional services and delivering the same high level of service they have come to expect.”
Current employees from both Cooper and Coastal will continue to provide pest and termite control services out of State Pest Control’s Clinton and Wendell locations.
“We are excited to join State Pest Control’s growing team,” said Walt Cooper, owner of Cooper Pest Control. “State is highly regarded for its ability to maintain quality service while merging with other companies, and we are confident that our customers will be pleased with this transition.”
Including these two recent acquisitions, State Pest Control has acquired a total of seven pest control companies in North Carolina since 2009.
