Mark Jarvis, chief executive of The Steritech Group, was the subject of a feature titled "When It Rains Roaches," which traced Jarvis’ professional career.
Originally from South Africa, Jarvis holds a B.A. in economics and a postgraduate diploma in human resource management at the University of Cape Town. Prior to arriving at Steritech in the early 1990s, Jarvis traveled the world and held a variety of jobs, including: working at a surfboard factory in Portugal and as a bicycle courier, accounting assistant and bookkeeper in London
