TOPEKA, Kan. - Schendel Pest Services today announced the addition of Steve Roberts as the company’s new vice president/general manager. Roberts comes to Schendel with more than 25 years of management experience with the Sprint Corporation, where he held various positions within the company’s accounting, process improvement, billing and information technology organizations.
Schendel President Brent Boles stated, “Steve’s unique combination of accounting, information systems, management and marketing experience make him the perfect candidate to align our operational systems and help us achieve our stated goal of growing to $20 million in annual revenue within the next few years. A candidate of Steve Roberts’ caliber is a tremendous asset to Schendel and we look forward to working with him as he learns the pest control industry and the Schendel culture.”
Roberts is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Missouri and he holds two masters’ degrees – one in business administration and the second in computer resources and information management. He is an adjunct faculty member of Webster University in Kansas City where he has taught master’s level classes in accounting, finance, budgeting and information technology.
