In Brunswick, N.J., 30 scientists had a meeting they believed was warranted to discuss their concerns for the persistent spread of the brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB).
Known for its agricultural nuisance, the stink bug was seen as far east as South Carolina, as south as Alabama and as west as the Dakotas.
Scientists from different regions in the United States gave updates on the steady spread of the insect.
