FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Sunair Services Corporation announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Pest Environmental, a pest control and termite company located in Central Florida with $5 million in annualized revenue.
Sunair Services Corporation, a Florida corporation, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Middleton Pest Control, Inc., with headquarters located in Orlando, Fla., provides pest control and lawn care services to both residential and commercial customers.
“The acquisition of Pest Environmental adds a critical geographical component for our Central Florida operations,” said John Hayes, CEO of Sunair Services Corporation. “The synergies of operations and personnel we gain with Pest Environmental will propel us even higher up in the top 15 companies in the pest control industry,” said Hayes.
Greg Clendenin, CEO of Middleton Pest Control, Inc. and Sunair Southeast Pest Holdings stated, “We have long been interested in the growth area of Citrus, Hernando and Pasco counties. This new addition gives us an important new footprint in the Central Florida area, a strategically located operations site, and tuck-in revenue for our current offices. We also look forward to adding the Pest Environmental Team to the Middleton family. ”
Earlier this week Sunair announced plans to raise $15 million in private placement.
