FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Sunair Services Corporation announced it has acquired the assets of Summer Rain Fertilization Company. Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Margate, Fla., the company will be integrated into Sunair's wholly owned subsidiary Middleton Lawn & Pest Control and continue to service the Florida counties of Broward and Palm Beach.
“Summer Rain represents an important expansion for us. Including this acquisition we now have 26 offices serving peninsular Florida,” said John Hayes, Sunair’s CEO, in a release. “We are also very excited to have the founder Rick Wilson and his organization join our growing team of lawn care and pest control specialists as we continue to grow Sunair both organically and through acquisitions."
"We are further positioned to expand our growing footprint into the South Florida market and extend our reputation for customer satisfaction,” said Middleton CEO Greg Clendenin. “Summer Rain is an excellent company that we are pleased to bring into our family. In addition to the lawn, tree and shrub services already provided by Summer Rain, Middleton Lawn & Pest Control will add our quality inside pest control and termite protection services to the services offered by our new south Florida location.”
