DALLAS - Sureguard Termite & Pest Services announced the merger and acquisition of NTX Best Pest of Frisco, a family-owned company serving the North Texas area.
“We are excited to be able to service the NTX customers and provide them with the personalized services that they are accustomed to," said Mike Houston, president of Sureguard Termite & Pest Services. "We also provide additional services that were not previously available by NTX. This acquisition allows us to continue to create more density in our routing allowing us to be able to give even better service and response time to our clients.”
Casey Slingerland was happy to find a family-owned company to transition all his customers to, the company said. NTX was one of the top PCO companies on the far north side of the Dallas market, serving several thousand homes per year.
Slingerland was referred to Houston by a common industry friend in early 2022. When the two met, NTX had some differences with their business model. Slingerland worked diligently to make changes to his business model by streamlining some of the processes. The two met up again, worked through the due diligence and closed the transaction in 2023.
Sureguard Termite & Pest Services is a third-generation pest management company owned by the Houston Family; The Houston Family has been in the pest control industry since 1967. NTX Best Pest is the 22nd acquisition since 2015.
