SWAT Pest Management Earns QualityPro Schools Designation

Swat Pest Management, Evansville, Ind., has earned the QualityPro Schools designation from the National Pest Management Association.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Swat Pest Management, a pest management company in Evansville, Ind., with more than nine years of serving residential, commercial and educational customers in the tri-state region,  has earned the QualityPro Schools designation from the National Pest Management Association (NPMA).

As a QualityPro Schools-approved company, Swat Pest Management has taken extraordinary measures to ensure the safety and health of students, faculty and staff in both public and private schools. In addition to fulfilling thorough and in-depth QualityPro requirements, including performing criminal background checks on all employees, Swat Pest Management has trained all of its school service technicians and salespeople on specific school-related Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques, exceeding most state requirements.

“Becoming a QualityPro Schools company was important to me because I believe that sensitive environments such as our schools deserve an extra level of care and attention,” said Tim Runyon, president of Swat Pest Management. “This designation speaks to the thoroughness and overall level of service quality provided by our company to local schools.”

To achieve the QualityPro Schools designation, a company must first meet stringent QualityPro qualifications incorporating five key principles, including business operations, consumer relations, environmental stewardship, technician training and school-specific integrated pest management techniques. Afterwards, a company may choose to participate in additional advanced training, specific to educational facilities.

“Swat Pest Management is one of a few, elite companies in the country to participate in both the QualityPro and QualityPro Schools programs, which demonstrates their commitment to provide consumers with the highest possible level of professional pest management services,” said Andrew Architect, executive director of QualityPro.
