This year’s winners were:
- Luther Mosley, Arrow Exterminators, Tampa, Fla. — Residential Category
- Paul Morton, The Steritech Group, Knoxville, Tenn. — Commercial Category
- Allen Hulstine, Terminix, Sherman, Texas — Termite Category
Mosley and Morton were both recognized in person Tuesday. (Due to weather-related travel difficulties Hulstine was not able to be present. Terminix’s Fred Strickland accepted the award on Hulstine’s behalf.)
Syngenta Senior Marketing Manager Pat Willenbrock and PCT Internet Editor and Managing Editor Brad Harbison introduced the 2006 winners and congratulated them on their achievements.
“On behalf of PCT magazine and Syngenta, it’s my privilege to present the Crown Technician of the Year Awards Program,” Harbison said. “These technicians set the standards for the industry through their hard work, dedication and professionalism.”
The 2006 awards marked 11 consecutive years in which PCT and Syngenta have honored a trio of service professionals in the residential, commercial and termite categories. During this time PCT has recognized 34 Technicians of the Year and more than 170 finalists from companies throughout the U.S. of various size and make-up.
Harbison concluded the ceremony saying “Congratulations again to our three winners and the rest of the industry’s technicians for the important role they play in the success of our industry.”
