GREENSBORO, N.C. –At PestWorld 2005, Syngenta educated pest management professionals about the company’s newest pest control solutions, and also offered them the opportunity to win valuable prizes for use in everyday pest control.
More than 500 PestWorld attendees registered for a sweepstakes at the Syngenta booth for the chance to win one of 12 prizes. In a random drawing held after the close of the conference, Joseph Lupini of Loyal Termite & Pest Control Co., Richmond, Va., was selected as the grand prize winner of a Pest Tracker termite tracking device valued at $3,000. A second prize of a Jack II compressor and electric foaming unit was awarded to Leslie Withoelter of Rottler Pest Control and Lawn Care in St. Louis, Mo. Ten other lucky Syngenta booth attendees received Optigard™ ZT foamer kits.
In addition to the chance to win prizes, visitors to the booth also saw first-hand demonstrations of Syngenta’s newest pest control solution, Optigard ZT insecticide, the first non-repellent insecticide to focus on nuisance pests in a void application.
“Syngenta is proud to have once again been a part of this important industry event,” said Linda Frerichs, senior communications manager, marketing services, Syngenta. “We are committed to supporting our customers at every level, and the PestWorld convention allows us to reconnect and interact with our partners in a fun and educational setting.”
