Syngenta Launches Demon MAX Pesticide

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Syngenta Professional Products introduces Demon MAX, a combination of two well-known Syngenta insecticides, Demon® EC and Demon® TC. Demon MAX will give pest management professionals (PMPs) one product to control a wide variety of pests.

Demon MAX features the active ingredient cypermethrin, providing proven protection against cockroaches, ants, spiders, flies, bees and the most aggressive termite species, including Formosan and Eastern Subterranean. Demon is the “tried and tested” choice of today’s PMPs seeking strong efficacy and satisfaction in meeting termite pre-treat requirements.

“Demon MAX combines the benefits of two great Syngenta classics into one,” said Karen Westcott, marketing manager, Syngenta. “Now PMPs will have a single product that effectively controls a broad range of pests.”

Offering long-term protection, Demon MAX was designed with an advanced pyrethroid chemistry and low vapor pressure so it is up to 200 times less soluble than other brands. Demon MAX can be used in, on and around buildings and structures, including lawns, landscape uses and spot treatments.

Demon MAX is a qualifying product for the Syngenta-sponsored Demon Mustang Sweepstakes. PMPs will receive one sweepstakes entry for every gallon or pound of Demon products they purchase through mid-November 2005. The winner will drive away with a new 2005 Ford Mustang Coupe GT.

The sweepstakes runs January 1, 2005, through November 15, 2005. It is open to all legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older, who are employed as licensed PMPs. Other qualifying products for the sweepstakes are Demon EC, Demon TC and Demon® WP.
