GREENSBORO, N.C. — Syngenta challenges pest management professionals and entomology students to craft the most creative and complex rodent control contraptions. Syngenta will judge all entries and the selected winning team or individual will receive a $5,000 grand prize and an opportunity to showcase their device at an upcoming industry event.

Syngenta manufactures several rodent control products including Talon®-G, Weatherblok® XT and the Multiplex® Station.

“Syngenta is launching this contest to get people in our industry thinking about rodent control in a new, different and fun way,” said Pat Willenbrock, senior marketing manager, Syngenta. “Our line of rodenticides is one of the most effective means of control, but we expect to see more elaborate, unique and creative ways to combat the problems rodents present.”
