Syngenta manufactures several rodent control products including Talon®-G, Weatherblok® XT and the Multiplex® Station.
“Syngenta is launching this contest to get people in our industry thinking about rodent control in a new, different and fun way,” said Pat Willenbrock, senior marketing manager, Syngenta. “Our line of rodenticides is one of the most effective means of control, but we expect to see more elaborate, unique and creative ways to combat the problems rodents present.”
Contestants can enter at www.buildbettercontrol.com. Submissions will be judged on:
1) Creativity of materials and movements
2) Complexity, with more points for longer, more elaborate devices
3) The ability to trap a mouse
Entries that show exceptional promise in one or more of these categories may be eligible for additional prizes or recognition. Participants have until Dec. 31, 2007, to submit a video documenting their rodent control contraption in action. The use of live animals is not permitted and any entries involving live animals will be immediately disqualified. For more information about the Build Better Control Challenge and for contest rules and regulations visit www.buildbettercontrol.com.
