TAMPA, Fla. – Security Termite Systems Inc. of Tampa, Fla., donated its time and services to Lexington Homes of New Port Richey, for an episode of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, filmed in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Security Termite Systems Inc. provides pre-construction termite control, the HomeGuard Termite Baiting System and In-Wall Pest Tube installation to many homebuilders in the Tampa area, including Lexington Homes.

“We were honored to help and excited to participate with Lexington Homes in this project” said Security Branch Manager James Sarantopoulos.

Sarantopoulos, Termite Manager Brian Tortarelli and technicians Mark Shuman and Bill Williams spent nearly an entire day on the project, meeting the show stars, watching the demolition and spraying the entire slab area with Termidor 80 WG in the late hours of the night.

The home in St. Petersburg was built for the Dolan Family. James Dolan was shot and blinded in a November 2004 shooting in a St. Petersburg Radio Shack, where two others died before the gunman killed himself.
