Target Specialty Products Announces Changes to Pest Organizational Structure

SANTE FE SPRINGS, Calif. — Target Specialty Products announced several strategic changes to its organizational structure, effective immediately.

The distributor said these proactive steps evolve the business model and better align talent with strategic goals, positioning it for long-term optimization and success.

Tom Algeo was promoted to senior director, Pest, where he will now oversee the consolidated Pest US business, including Pest East, Pest West and Vector. Bobby Maston will continue in his role as sales director for Pest West, where he will now report directly to Algeo as part of the Unified Pest leadership team. Sales managers for Pest West will continue to report to Maston.

Mike Nichols, sales manager, Vector, will also now report to Algeo as part of the Pest business unit.

Casey O’Connor, formerly director of purchasing has been promoted to senior director, T&O and special businesses. Target Specialty Products said in this new role, O’Connor will spearhead the formation and strategic direction of this unified business unit. His oversight will include US T&O, Canada, Cygnet, Vertex and proprietary turf products.

The distributor said purchasing inquiries should still be directed to O’Connor and Carrie Fowler until the director of purchasing position is filled.

Mark Miller, director of T&O sales, has elected to step into a new role in the Northeast as manager, T&O business and sales specialist. He will report to O’Connor.

Target Specialty Products said to better align strategy, the company is establishing a dedicated internal marketing function. Bobby Kossowicz, previously strategic partner manager has been promoted to senior manager, marketing, reporting directly to David Helt. Kossowicz will oversee Target’s marketing department including both pest and turf, while maintaining her strategic partnership duties.
