JEFFERSON, Ga. – Team Pest USA, Charlotte, N.C., has acquired Sentry Pest Control, based in Jefferson, Ga. The acquisition was announced by The Aust Group, which represented Sentry Pest Control as the exclusive financial advisor on the transaction.
Sentry Pest Control, formed in 2012 by Joshua and Lisa Sheppard, is a full-service pest and termite control business that provides residential and commercial services to customers throughout Jackson County, Ga. Sentry was awarded the 2021 Small Business of the year award by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce and is active members of National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and Georgia Pest Control Association (GPCA). Sentry Pest Control now joins the Team Pest USA family.
Joshua Sheppard, owner of Sentry, said, “We recently had the pleasure of working with The Aust Group. We chose them based on their reputation and experience. It was important for us to have someone who is familiar with the pest control industry representing us. They guided us through the entire process, and we were able to negotiate a deal that we were extremely happy with.”
Team Pest USA has been providing pest and termite control since 1971 and services Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Brandon Pelfrey, Owner and CEO of Team Pest USA, said, “I am very pleased and excited about the merger with Sentry Pest Control. Sentry has a great reputation, and we look to continue the company growth in the Jackson and Banks County areas. This will further our growth, give us our 8th location in Georgia, and our 11th location in the southeast.” The acquisition of Sentry Pest Control marks Team Pest USA’s third acquisition.
The Aust Group represented Sentry Pest Control as the exclusive financial advisor on the transaction. The transaction closed on Feb. 17, 2023, and the terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
