Team Too Announces Series of Personnel Moves

CORONA, Calif. — Team Too Termite & Pest Control announced a series of personnel moves, including the appointment of Melissa Houtchens to the position of director of Human Resources at their corporate offices located in Corona, California.

Melissa Houtchens began working with Team Too part time in February 1996 as part of the call center staff performing back office duties such as completing termite reports and generating sales and production reports. She is a graduate of California State University Long Beach with a bachelors of science in psychology.

William Houtchens, president of Team Too stated, “Melissa brings together all of the points of view within the office to focus our strategies with our staff. Her insights into the thought process and the knowledge she has of being around the pest control industry for the last 14 years help us to better focus our training, recruitment, and employee development programs.”

Prior to moving to full time employment in June 2006, Melissa Houtchens was a stay at home mother while working part time at Team Too. “Now that all my kids are in school I needed a new challenge and being part of the office team definitely keeps me on my toes,” she said.

Gary Du Rousseaux

On Oct. 1, Team Too appointed Gary Du Rousseaux to the position of pest control service manager in their Corona, Calif., office.

Du Rousseaux began his career with Team Too as a field service technician in November 2003. “Gary has been a team player and has always shown the motivation and energy to move forward in the pest control industry, as well as the extra effort to ensure that at the end of the day all work is completed properly and professionally. Gary’s personal and professional growths are the sign of a truly dedicated person,” said William Houtchens.

Team Too also announced the appointment of Anthony Cortez to the position of branch office manager for the companies Los Angeles/Ventura County office.

Cortez began his career with Team Too in August of 2004 as a pest control service technician. Cortez soon impressed management with his desire to achieve a high level satisfaction for both the customer as well as himself and was appointed service supervisor of the Corona, Calif., office in February 2005. “Anthony shows the expertise and desire provide the highest level of service for our customers, and has been an asset to our company. We look for many good things to happen in Los Angeles and Ventura counties with Anthony as our branch manager,” Houtchens said.

Cortez has been married to wife Tammy for 15 years. Tammy Cortez, who is a survivor of Hurricane Katrina was employed by a Wal-Mart subsidiary during the hurricane and was stranded for two weeks following the hurricane in Slidell, La. “Tammy is extremely excited about the change,” said Anthony Cortez. “It is a great opportunity for both of us.”
