Bryan Houtchens, vice president of Team Too Termite & Pest Control, is currently chairman for the Orange County District of PCOC, the largest in the state, and sits on the IPM committee that developed the joint program for PCOC and NPMA.
“Team Too Termite & Pest Control is excited about our partnership with both QualityPro and EcoWise to provide our customers and those in the communities we service with the knowledge that Team Too Termite & Pest Control holds itself to a higher standard and incorporates the newest and healthiest concepts for pest management,” added William Houtchens, president and CEO of Team Too Termite & Pest Control.
Although the concept of “green” services is not new at their company, Team Too Termite & Pest Control recognizes that they must continuously evolve their concept of environmental stewardship to change with adaptations of technology.
“It is not just a matter of the public view of what we do, to our families, customers, and employees it is a matter of what we actually do,” said Bryan Houtchens. “For many years now my family has initiated concepts of environmental awareness long before it was the ‘cool’ or ‘in thing’ to do, from the use of more environmentally conscience products when available to our complete non chemical Heat Blast® system. We just want to show everyone that actions speak louder than words and we are definitely an action-based company.”
Bryan Houtchens added, “NPMA’s QualityPro program shows what is best about our industry and shows companies who strive to be at the upper echelon of service and accountability, while EcoWise provides third party oversight of the implemented standards for environmentally-conscious services. With Team Too Termite & Pest Control achieving certification from both of these parties we feel that our commitment towards environmental concerns is not only stated to our customers but shown in our environmental stewardship as well. We hope that our commitment within our organization shows others that offering these services and upholding these standards is not only an idea but a workable solution.”
