In mid-December, Team Too moved into its new location at 1848 Capital St., Corona, Ca. 92880. Prior to the move Team Too had resided in the same office structure since 1981. The new location is 13,000 square feet and houses the corporate offices, customer call center, state of the art training center including a 12-foot by 12-foot multimedia screen, and indoor regulation basketball court.
The new location also provided Team Too with its own secured yard and private entry to the parking area. The previous location for Team Too’s corporate office was 4,000 sqaure feet and was a multi tenant building.
William Houtchens, President of Team Too commented “The new corporate office gives us the ability to provide our staff with a relaxing family atmosphere while training, and the technology to be at the cutting edge of our industry. All of our staff was ready for a new home, after being in the same building for over 20 years paint can only do so much to change the appearance.
We were all sitting on top of each other and now we have room to breathe and grow for another 20 years.”
ACQUISITION NEWS. On Feb. 1, Team Too completed the acquisition of Vince Miller’s Rena Pest Control. As part of the acquisition Miller will join Team Too as a commercial sales representative.
Miller approached Team Too in January 2006 regarding the opportunities that Team Too could provide to his existing customer base, and the expanded selection of services which he was unable to offer by himself. Added William Houtchens, “Vince will be a valuable member of the family at Team Too. We look forward to carrying on the quality of service he provided to his customers and the ability to provide a more comprehensive selection of services.”
PERSONNEL NEWS. As part of its continued growth Team Too has made a series of promotions including Jeremiah Patin to branch office manager for the company’s Miramar, Calif. (San Diego County) office.
Patin began his career with Team Too in September of 2003 as a termite inspector. He soon impressed the management of Team Too with his desire to achieve a high level satisfaction for both the customer as well as himself. “Jeremiah brings an energy and desire to provide the highest level of service for our customers, and has been an asset to our company. We look for many good things to happen in San Diego County with Jeremiah as our branch manager,” William Houtchens said.
Team Too transferred Rusty Stewart to the commercial sales department in its Corona, Calif. office.
Stewart began his career with Team Too as a field service technician in 2003. Since his first day of employment Stewart has strived to provide the quality and personal service that Team Too offers. “Rusty has been a team player and has always shown the motivation and energy to move forward in the pest control industry, as well as the extra effort to ensure that at the end of the day all work is completed properly and professionally,” Houtchens said.
