Tempo 1% Dust Receives Registration In New York State

RESEARCH TRIANLGE PARK, N.C. – Bayer Environmental Science has announced that Tempo® 1% Dust is now registered for use in the State of New York. This formulation contains one of the most effective compounds available for quick knockdown and long-term residual control of bees, wasps, hornets, ants and cockroaches, among numerous other pests.

Tempo 1% Dust, a ready-to-use pyrethroid dust, can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications. It can be applied by hand dusters or power dusters, directly into voids and cracks and crevices, in and around structures. Tempo 1% Dust has excellent penetration into wall voids, ensuring equal coverage, and is odorless and non-staining.

"PMPs in New York now have a dust that controls over 50 pests in environments ranging from cafeterias to industrial buildings to homes,” says Michael Newhouse, General Insect Control Market Manager for Bayer ES. “And the dust is especially effective in penetrating cracks and crevices because it won’t be absorbed into the walls.”

Backed by Bayer, Tempo 1% Dust has an application rate of 0.5 to 1 lb. per 1,000 sq. ft. and is available in an easy-to-use 1.25 lb. container, either individually or by the case. It also has the versatility to be used as a stand-alone duster or to refill existing dusters.
